Designed to abolish the midweek doldrums, we seek to bring painting to the proletariat with co-creative canvases, an up and coming art market, and painting workshops led by Bay Area artists.

Each Tuesday we gather and our movement grows stronger. Each week we bring the paint to the people.

Temple Saturdays with Tall Sasha Vs Ron Reeser

Celebrating Release of "Indigo Sky" feat. Elle Vee Cherry Drop Records

Presented by Sol Y Luna, Yuksel Presents and Christian Pineiro

San Francisco has a rich history of producing top-quality EDM acts. From Kaskade to Max Vangeli, San Francisco has been used as a canvas for these artists to perfect their trade before stepping into a larger spotlight. In that same spirit, Tall Sasha has emerged as San Francisco’s newest up-and-coming producer. With headlining gigs at Ruby Skye, Vessel and The Grand, Tall Sasha has established himself as the go-to producer in the Bay Area – the next big thing. His first ever original production, “Stargate,” reached #31 on the Beatport Progressive House Chart in July. “Stargate” was followed up by “Revolution,” another progressive house banger that eventually made its way to #22. With the bar set high, Tall Sasha continues to take the world of EDM by storm, this time with a stunning remake of a U2 classic – “With or Without You.”

Ultra Music Recording artist RON REESER is quickly becoming a household name. With a remix discography that lists artists such as Adele, Ellie Goulding, Gotye, Kaskade, Deadmau5, Krewella, Jes, Nadia Ali, Lights, Maroon 5 and more. RON REESER continues to cement his name in the dance industry and international market as a producer to watch in 2014. His previous releases have topped US and UK charts including iTunes.com & Beatport.com. In early 2009, Ron Reeser joined international powerhouse Ultra Records, the label that brought Artists such as Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Kaskade & Deadmau5 to massive mainstream appeal. Ron’s latest single, “Anywhere” on Jetset Music is currently rocking radio airwaves far and wide in major markets such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and throughout Canada. His previous singles “Everything” feat. Myah and “Above All” feat. Sylvia Tosun both topped the charts on Sirius Radio’s BPM as the Number 1 most played song in the month of September 2010 and ranked 2nd most played artist next to Kaskade. In addition to charting in the Top 20 Dance on Billboard Magazine for the month of April 2010. Reeser hit the charts again with his his latest remix of Deadmau5’s “Raise Your Weapon” & Jes’s “Awaken”, holding regular rotation and the #1 Spot on BPM America’s Leading Dance Station in July and August 2011. Fast forward to 2014 as he continues to push the envelope with current releases and collaborations with Luciana “Primitive” on Vicious Records (Australia), a remix for Krewella's next single "Enjoy The Ride" off there album "Get Wet" on Columbia Records and Modern Machines “We Are The Night” on Tiesto’s sub-label Blackhole Recordings. In addition to upcoming releases on UK’s imprint CR2 Records and Sony Music. Much more to come from this artist in 2014. ::: MIKE PUSH :::

M.I.K.E. became captivated early on in his childhood with the synth-pop sounds of the 80's, which were brought on by band icons such as Depeche Mode and legendary synth master Jean Michele Jarre. His plans to follow in their footsteps and bring dance music to a different level didn't fall short when he went on to release one of his timeless anthems, 'Universal Nation' followed by 'Strange World'! As the list continued, creating such hits brought on major appeal by huge names like Moby, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery and so much more - which of whom M.I.K.E produced impressive collaborations and remixes for. As time passed and M.I.K.E.'s name spread, popular demand began to expand rapidly worldwide! From the UK, to cities all around Europe & straight across the Atlantic & into North America and down Latin America, Asia and Australia - Ministry of Sound, DanceValley, Tomorrowland, Trance Energy, Winter Music Conference - were some of the prestigious venues that till this day M.I.K.E. is noticed for as a top leading performer/DJ. And we wonder, where does he find the time to make so many hit releases? Through the wave of fans, the touring, atmosphere and passion for music are what tell the stories behind each of his exceptional tracks labeled under monikers Push, Plastic boy, to his most widely used name - M.I.K.E. And now teaming up with Coldharbour & SMG he continues introducing his fresh new sound with a twist of Trance and Progressive for a totally modish blend. You can grab a taste on his weekly radio show 'Club Elite Sessions', also heard on various stations worldwide including SiriusXM and Digitally Imported Radio. http://www.twitter.com/mikepush http://www.facebook.com/mikemusicofficial http://www.soundcloud.com/mikepush

Confident. Exuberant. Raw. Innovative. These are just a few of the words industry insiders and fans have used to describe the talent behind one of America’s favorite house DJs, Donald Glaude. Ranked 68 on DJMag.com’s Top 100 DJs List in 2005, Donald skyrocketed to 48 this year and his genius keeps on growing…

Born in Tacoma, Washington, Donald’s love for music began at an early age. Originally a disciplined student of classical music, he was well-versed in the upright bass and violin. Any aspirations Donald had to continue in the classical vein vanished once he heard his first house record. With an ear for blending music already under his belt, and a love for the energy and soul of musical prodigies like George Clinton and Funkadelic, Donald began to amass a collection of house records which he taught himself to mix with a pair of mismatched turntables and a Radio Shack mixer. Before Donald few DJs had attempted to spin house records. Donald’s fine ear helped him give birth to a new style. After mastering his craft, Donald began DJing in various clubs around Tacoma and Seattle. During that time he made several important connections which would launch his music to the forefront of what was quickly becoming one of the largest underground movements since New Wave in the late-70s. Perhaps the greatest connection Donald made was with another aspiring DJ and friend, DJ Dan.

Together Donald & DJ Dan sparked the rave scene in Seattle and developed large followings. Knowing that Donald possessed an energy and ability to work the crowd that was unparalleled to anyone else on the circuit, Dan convinced San Francisco’s legendary Funky Tekno Tribe to bring down his good friend Donald to play at one of their parties. Donald’s talents quickly made him a permanent fixture on F.T.T.’s roster. Some DJs seek commercial acceptance. Donald, on the other hand, has always preferred an emotional connection with his audience. For Donald, house music is not simply a mixed bag of sound, but rather an experience that provokes the soul. Apart from his mastery on the decks, Donald is best known for his dynamic showmanship. He enjoys his music as much as his audience does. Embracing their energy, it is not uncommon to find Donald pumping his hands in the air, jumping up and down and shouting back his love to the crowd. It is this powerful signature style which has led fellow DJ and musical producer, Dave Aude, to call Donald the “James Brown of DJs.” Donald also caused some stir in 2005 and 2006 with his residency at ICE Nightclub in Las Vegas.

Donald’s uncompromising style and innovation show no sign of slowing down any time soon. With the credit of 5 full-length CDs and numerous remixes under his belt, Donald has focused much of his time to production work. Producing such dance floor hits as “Get Up” and “Soul Cha Cha”. As such, Donald has launched two record labels in which are causing rumblings in the industry...

Hot Mouth (Mau5trap)

Alos Supporting Sets By: DJ CRANK (Special Birthday Closing Set) & TECH MINDS

Hot mouth was born in 2008, the brain child of Jon Pegnato who began producing what is best described as funky, techy, fun, electro house. In 2009 he began releasing original tracks, collaborations and remixes on InStereo Recordings, Simma, Play Me, PBR and Dirty Fabric and gained several Beatport Top 10 hits that year. Due to the success of his Hot Mouth production work he was asked collaborate with and ultimately, join LA Riots late in 2009. As 1/2 of LA Riots he has remixed for some of the world's biggest pop and dance artists from Lady Gaga to Tiesto to Steve Aoki. As LA Riots, Jon played around the world, rocking crowds at festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra, & Lollapalooza, as well as played some of the worlds biggest night clubs across the globe. In addition to being voted by Beatport as one of 2010's top artists to look out for, the group was also nominated in 2011 as America's top DJ. Over the years Jon's music has gained successful notoriety, with millions of youtube plays, support BBC's Radio 1, and support from top DJs around the world. After 3 years of the mega-successful LA Riots project, Jon has returned to Hot Mouth, his labor of love, to continue developing the sound he created years ago. Hot Mouth's first release on Chris Lake's label, Rising Music was his EP 'Habits' consisting of two club worthy belters, both infused with techy drums and undulating bass lines. His sophomore release on Rising Music available in June, 'Totally Worth It' is a bouncy big room banger, with a killer vocal featuring Chris James. Out now, is his remix of Sebastien Drum’s track “French Rules”, Hot Mouth takes Sebastien’s creation and adds a truly original spin. Jackin’ kicks & snares and fidgety synth sounds, merge with Niles Mason’s soulful vocals to make a dancefloor-ready club smasher.

His production career started in the hedonistic days of Discover Records alongside John O’Callaghan, their biggest success being the timeless ‘Exactly’, one ofthe biggest tracks of 2006. Over the years Bryan has honed these productions skills with a massive increase in original productions right across the dance music spectrum with release after release on labels such as Spinnin, Armada, Subculture, Future Sound Of Egypt, Fraction, Unearthed, own label Kearnage Recordings in 2010 and since then has seen the label and brand continue to grow. In tune, Ruben’s track ‘Stoer’ walked into the hands of Joris Voorn’s Rejected Records where it saw the tech driven artist embrace its entrance. Using just a cassette player, pair of speakers and a stereo. The passion for music grown and he started listening Rock, Pop, Reggae, Rap, Blues, Alternative and Electronica which really caught his attention. Artists from early stages of Electronic Music, such as Information Society, Technotronic and The Prodigy, contributed to his musicality. After years attending RAVE’s, Trance Festivals and Underground Parties and tasting different genres of electronic music, Lucas decided to start putting his entire music library to work and produce his own style of playing, which goes from underground electronic music to pop house tunes. In 2005, he started his career as a DJ playing in private events in his hometown in Brazil. In December of the same year he got his first turntables and brought them to Praia do Rosa –SC, a paradise in South coast of Brazil. The sunset parties at the resort were a blast. He has played in different venues in San Francisco and in Brazil and also in some music festivals including twice at the biggest Music and Art Festival in the world -Burning Man- at “The Secret of The Stone Camp”. In the summer of 2009 he has started investing on his career as Music Producer at SFSU. STEVE SMOOTH
Temple and Life SF Present: LIFE with Steve Smooth!

Born and raised on Chicago's Southside, Steve Smooth first immersed himself in the dance music scene working at a local record store and then a Chicago based independent record label. As a DJ, Steve worked to perfect his style of mixing by hitting the Chicago club circuit. This, along with Guest appearances on several college radio stations, helped him to gain recognition which eventually lead to a frequent guest spot on weekly Sunday mix show, "The Street Flava," which aired on Chicago's largest radio station B96 (96.3 FM). Steve Smooth then began working in the studio producing and remixing tracks for some of the hottest dance labels. Mixes like "Everyday My Life" and the remix of the vocal anthem, "Time" by legendary House Diva Dajae, helped Steve quickly make his mark in the house and dance music community as well as receiving much deserved attention from Billboard Magazine. His first original production "Beat Freaker" created a frenzy on dance-floors worldwide. This Solidified him as a production force to be reckoned with. Steve's skills in the studio earned him a part on Bad Boy Bill's production team working on dance-floor hits such as: "Everybody;" "Costa Del Sol" and "Happy" as well as Bill’s mix compilation series "Bangin' The Box" & "Behind The Decks." In 2002 Steve seized the opportunity to tour with the world renowned DJ and Chicago native Bad Boy Bill. Steve took his skills as a DJ to countless shows around the world, including the UK, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong, and North & South Americas. He traveled and played alongside Bad Boy Bill for over 3 years. By working with Bad Boy Bill, Steve ended up hooking up with his then production partner, JJ Flores. Together, they found a signature sound that filled dance floors across the Globe. Peak hour tracks like "Release", "Get Naked" & "Time for Love" became bonafide hits and led to the release on such labels as: Ministry of Sound (UK), Sound Division (Italy), Vendetta (Spain), Fine Tune (France) & Ménage Music (US). Steve and JJ have remixed for many mainstream artists such as Nelly Furtado, Santana, & Chad Kroeger from Nickelback. They also produced remixes for house music artists such as Antoine Clamaran, Hatiras, DJ Dan, and Eric Prydz. Their remix of "Dancin" by Aaron Smith was a Top 10 hit in the UK Pop Charts in 2006. With the success of the Steve and JJ's production, Ménage Music released their first full length album entitled "The Collection". This album was just that; a collection of the most popular tracks produced and remixed by the duo to date. Soon enough the two found themselves back on tour. This time with the Bad Ass B*tches (a female dance group) for The Debauchery Tour. This tour took them to over 20 major cities in the U.S. and Canada. With extraordinary feedback from media and club-goers, Steve and JJ obtained a monthly residency at Spybar Chicago in their hometown, which was later moved to another Chicago venue, Crobar. In 2007 Steve found himself growing musically more than ever before. He produced two rock EPs for the Electronic Rock Band, The Shock Stars. Within the 1st year the band has found themselves opening for other mainstream bands including AFI, but more impressively beating out over 2000 bands to win the MP3's "Last Band Standing" contest to perform on the main stage of the infamous music festival "Lollapalooza." Early in 2008, Steve signed his exclusive deal to release his & JJ’s sophomore album on Ultra Records / Ménage Music. On October 7th, 2008 the full length album “Amp’d” was released. The album featured the single “Let It Go,” with vocals by B. Lee, which topped the charts and was in rotation on all of the major dance music radio shows in the U.S. Another single titled “Stay,” featuring Colette, was remixed by John Dahlback & Nick Terranova and became a #1 download on Beatport.com as well as was in BPM Radio’s Top 20 of 2009. Other popular tracks from the album included “Being in Love,” “Deep Inside These Walls,” and “Sex Fiend.” All of these were floor killers in nightclubs worldwide. Steve released his 3rd full length album & first solo project at the end of 2012. The first single “So High” created a huge buzz in the club scene as well as YouTube with a Music Video being a mash-up of the club scene from Spy Bar (Chicago) and a beach party in the Bahamas while aboard The Groove Cruise. His next 2 singles “You Take Me Here” & “Stalker” featuring the vocalist Tamra Keenan from Kaskade’s “Angel On My Shoulder” become huge crossover dance hits. Steve has been voted one of “America’s Favorite DJs” according to BPM Magazine. Over the last 5 years Steve has continued to maintain an impressive DJ schedule by touring solo and headlining in 30 different countries as well as playing over 100 shows just in the past year alone. He is a resident DJ on Whet Travel’s yearly cruise, “The Groove Cruise” which packs a crowd of 2000 plus house music fans as well as many talented DJs from all over the world. This year Steve has been releasing music on Tiesto’s Black Hole Recordings and has been doing remixes for Fedde La Grand’s Flamingo Recordings. Steve's newest singles “Mmm Drop" & "Free" with Bad Boy Bill both are still climbing the charts and have reached the Beatport Top 20!
